Is the G20 slush fund scandal the Harper Tory gun registry?

When the Auditor General first reported about the gun registry, she told Canadians that "What's really inexcusable is that Parliament was in the dark" about the cost of building the long gun registry.

Then opposition Canadian Alliance MP Garry Breitkreuz fed upon that anger.  He thought that heads should roll:
Obviously accountability means nothing to the government because all three are still sitting on the front bench.
Fast forward to the first few days of the new Harper Tory majority and everything old is new again.
Sheila Fraser was right about how wrong it was to sheild expenses from Parliament was in 2002.

But tomorrow, John Baird and Tony Clement will still be sitting on the front bench.
